The Indian Valley Oddfellows #121 was formed in 1926. Mr. A. J. Steward allowed them to build the current all on his property, with the understanding that as long as there was a lodge charter the property could be used for this purpose. In the 1980s the Steward Community Hall nonprofit group was formed to manage the building. The Indian Valley General Store occupies the first story.
