Idaho Heritage Trust
Serving all Idahoans by preserving our cultural legacy.
The Idaho Heritage Trust preserves Idaho’s rich cultural history by providing grants and technical assistance to preservationists in every nook and cranny of the Gem State. Our grassroots efforts on behalf of all Idahoans honor the legacy of our ancestors, enrich our present, and ensure our collective heritage will be enjoyed for generations to come.
Preserving Idaho's Historic Buildings
We are committed to providing the resources, tools, and funding to protect and preserve heritage sites, buildings, and artifacts across Idaho.
Revitalizing Idaho's Historic Theatres
IHT is working to restore and protect the heritage of Idaho’s rich theatrical history, ensure our rural communities have access to the arts and culture, reinvigorate key economic and social hubs on historic Main Streets, and to provide a tool for our rural communities to capitalize on Idaho’s growing population and heritage tourism industry.
Restoring Idaho's Rural Main Streets
IHT is focusing on how we can help restore Idaho’s historic Main Streets, drive economic development, and ensure our historic buildings are here for the next generation.
Researching Idaho's Archaeology
IHT provides funding for archaeological projects that will enhance and preserve the understanding of our past.
